I would have to say the food was in good amounts and had a good variety of nutrients. Although there wasn't enough exercise for the patients, maybe add some sit ups and push ups or something, that would help. Not much movement going on in the facility. Getting to talk to a therapist was easier to do than others places i must say, you got to talk to them more often. But the staff doesn't like to engage with the patients very much, i feel like if they did it would help. A lot of the staff shames the patients for things which i must say doesnt really help with self esteem but I can understand why you'd think it would help them to stop, but please dont do it. I feel like nap time should not be a thing here, forcing patients to sleep is terrible, making them lay down in bed for 2 hours is not okay, let them move. And not being allowed to go outside is bad, if you're on precautions then yes you wont be allowed outside but usually if one person misbehaves dont make sure that everyone doesnt get to go outside, they arent prisioners, just misunderstood people. I wouldnt recommend this place until they fix these errors. Thank you.
THE 1⭐ REVIEWS I SUGGEST YOU CONTACT LAWYERS ASAP. ANYWAY, my family member was sent there recently by court order to get help. We know exactly what is wrong with that person so they can't lie to us. AFTER READING THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS WE WILL BE MONITORING HIM & IF SOMETHING HAPPENS WE WILL BRING A LAW SUIT AGAINST THEM....THIS PLACE IS TO HELP DRUG ADDICTS & MENTAL PATIENTS....THE 1⭐ REVIEWS I SUGGEST YOU CONTACT LAWYERS ASAP.
The employees appear to be frazzled with their huge work load, but they do their best to help you with the things you need. When I've needed a refill but my funding ran out they helped me get onto a payment plan that worked for me. This is a reliable place to start getting medication if you need it and can't afford to go anywhere else.
As POA of my sister, who is a patient @Aspire can honestly say, a 1 star wouldn't be fair. Based on my experience their services are more effective, with extensive support. It takes self, family, and provider to equally play a role in getting help. You can not shift all weight, or majority of the weight on one role. I have learned to never put all trust in medical doctors, hospitals, etc. And to never totally rely on self, or family in seeking help. It's hard, tiresome, but there must be consistency in communication, asking questions, calling to check on, making time to visit, to show nothing but concern, love, and support.
They do the best they can with the funding they are given, but a lot of times it's not enough to support their number of clients. If you want to know the status of healthcare in Florida, this is a good place to observe.
during my treatment here at lakeside.. it inspired to want to become a tech.. ive been clean from my old ways for 2months now.
Its okay I guess on what I have to deal with
